Elphin’s Spring Market – 27th April

Elphin Commmunity Hall played host to the village’s 1st Market of 2011. As the weather was so good the stallholders decided to pitch their stalls outside the hall in the glorious spring weather. As well attracting an interest from many Elphin and Achiltibuie locals a surprisingly large number of visitors saw the roadside bunting and market signs and decided to have a closer look. Many of these whistle-stop visitors took home a momento of the local crafts and produce on display.                                                                             The stallholders included Cul Mhor Gardens, Sugar and Spice, West Coast Textiles, Ullapool Smokehouse, Szeiler Art, Twist Jewellery, Fergus Stewart Ceramics and Olde Moss Books.
